Situated in the heart of Valence, adjoining the Cathedral of Saint Apollinaire, the Museum of Valence is located in the former Episcopal palace, a vast private mansion surrounded by a courtyard and gardens overlooking the Rhône. Its secular heritage has been preserved and enriched by major building works completed in December 2013.

!!! In application of government measures to counter the spread of COVID19, the health pass (Covid vaccine or 48h -Covid test) is mandatory accompanied by an identity document to access the museum from July 21th for all visitors aged 18 and over.

- Full price 9 € / Reduced price 7 € / Free admission under 18 years. Free admission first Sunday of each month (except July and August).
- Wednesday to Sunday : 10am-12am / 2pm-6pm
- Late hours on the 3rd Thursday of each month: 10am-12am / 2pm-9pm
- The museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and all bank holidays
- Wednesday to Friday: 2pm-6pm
- Saturday: 10am-12am
Ticket office is closed 30 min before closing. Galleries are cleared 15 minutes before closing.
In case of exceptional changes, new schedules will be posted at the reception of the museum.
